The Garrett Ace 300 detector features a new 7" x 10" concentric PROformance search coil for additional coverage and detection depth. The ACE 300 sports a higher frequency of 8 kHz for better sensitivity to both low and medium-conductivity targets.

Additional Capabilities

Compared to the Ace 200, the Ace 300 offers two more search modes and enhanced features designed to help you find more treasure while metal detecting. A pinpointing mode helps you locate your treasure faster. In addition to headphones, the search coil cover and an environmental cover are included.

What makes the Ace 300 different? The search coil of this model measures 7" by 10". The search coil is waterproof and is a concentric PROformance search coil. Ground coverage and detection depth are excellent with this coil.

You can also control the sensitivity and depth adjustments at the touch of a button. You will notice that through proper control of the sensitivity depth adjustments you are able to maximize your finds and eliminate false signals.

As an upgrade from the base Garrett metal detector model, this unit includes a pinpoint feature. Using the integrated pinpoint search mode, you can quickly locate your target by zooming in on the target. This advanced model includes five different search modes. In addition to the jewelry and coins modes, there's also a custom mode and a zero discrimination mode. The all metal mode is perfect for finding precious metal targets, i.e. gold.

The unit operates at a frequency of 8 kHz, which is an ideal frequency for most targets. There is an improvement over the base model in terms of Iron discrimination. The model is the best at identifying iron in trash filled or iron laden hunt sites. Now you can easily find all U.S. coin denominations while hunting around junk. This model includes pulse width modulation audio to provide sharp, responsive audio signals through your headphones or speaker.

It features a waterproof coil which is a concentric coil measuring 7" by 10" is the perfect size for finding coins, jewelry, and metals of all types. The search coil is attached by a pole which features adjustable cam locks to keep the pole and coil secure. This submersible searchcoil makes the detector fun to use in shallow fresh water. It does not include a ground balance control to offset ground mineralization which is only included on upper models. For this reason it is not designed for salt water use or in the wet sand. It is suitable for dry beach fresh water hunting. With that said, the majority of the beach is dry sand areas so you will have plenty of areas to explore.
